Let’s do this. Let’s also define what “this” is, and answer a lot of your questions surrounding “this,” all while learning how to do “this.” Everyone who goes through Adhouse starts here. It gets us all on the same page. For those of you who know the game, great! Paul gives challenging, fun briefs for brands and issues that you can use to fill out your book. For those of you who have no idea what you’re doing but are pretty sure you’d like to make ads, we do that too! Paul guides newbies along, and uses their questions to low-key fill in the more experienced students on things they missed, didn’t know they missed or were afraid to ask about.

YOUR IDEA SUCKS (BUT IT CAN WIN A PENCIL) WITH ROVNER+STOOPACK

This class isn’t for perfectionists. It’s for people who know your first idea is probably garbage and who are ready to turn it into Gold Pencil material. We’ll dig through your ideas, tear them apart, build them back up and push you so you don’t settle. All as one, big, happy “agency” - the best way to answer a real Young Ones brief (and win a Young Ones Award).

Here are some of the assignments we could tackle: Best Buy, Google Gemini, Philips Sonicare, Verizon.

By the end, you’ll not only have work that answers real, live briefs. You’ll have something sharp enough to enter a competition - which means it’s also worthy of your portfolio. Let’s shoot for Pencils, Cubes and Certificates, and of course… a job someday… not just feedback.

Oh, and it’s taught by two of the partners at TiNY.
